Institute For Small Business And Entrepreneurship
ISBE is Britain's premier small business and entrepreneurship network for individuals and organisations involved with SME research and entrepreneurship education and support. ISBE also provides a welcome forum for those who provide business advice, and those who formulate, deliver and evaluate enterprise policy.
The National Council For Graduate Entrepreneurship NCGE was formed in 2004 with the aim of raising the profile of Entrepreneurship and the option of starting your own business as a career choice amongst students and graduates. The Council is not only focused on graduates starting businesses, but understanding, developing and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship within Higher Education through research, education and facilitation. NCGE aims to become the national focal point for graduate entrepreneurship and will collaborate with bodies across the UK.
Sainsbury Management Fellows
The SMF scheme, which is administered by the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng), provides a bursary to talented young engineers with leadership potential to study for a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) at internationally renowned business schools. Upon successful completion of the MBA, the engineers become a member of the SMF Society, which provides a range of benefits including networking, courses, mentoring, plus careers support.
