Women in Enterprise

Women’s Business Development Agency (WBDA) helps women take control of their lives by providing the specific support and advice they need to start and sustain their own business.

Prowess is a network of organisations and individuals who support the growth of women's business ownership. Their work encompasses raising awareness, sharing of best practice, advocacy and information.  Prowess has over 220 members who support 100,000 women each year to start 10,000 new businesses, which contribute an additional £1.5 billion to the economy.  Find out more about their work, or find business support in your area.
